Investigative journalist Kemi Olunloyo has officially forgiven Afrobeat singer Davido, revealing the details of their tumultuous history and why she decided to let go of her grudges against him.
In a post on her Instagram page, Kemi Olunloyo announced her decision to end years of criticism towards Davido. She explained that their feud began when Davido publicly insulted her on Twitter on October 20, 2018. He allegedly called her names such as a mad woman, drug addict, and accused her of sexual harassment after she reported on his breakup with Chioma.
Kemi expressed how these remarks damaged her reputation and brand. Despite calls from industry insiders for an apology from Davido, she claimed none was forthcoming.
However, Kemi Olunloyo has now decided to let go of her grievances. She declared that she will no longer cover Davido or any news related to him. Instead, she extended her best wishes to Davido, Chioma, their twins, and all of Davido's children from other relationships, including their upcoming baby. She wished them happiness and success as a family.
