A pastor from Louisiana, identified as Danny Prenell Jr, is currently facing serious allegations after allegedly shooting his wife, Gabrielle Prenell, in front of their three children.
The incident took place at a Hampton Inn hotel in McComb, United States, according to the police.
It has been reported that the 25-year-old pastor shared a photo on his Facebook page featuring himself, his wife, and their three children, accompanied by the caption, "I may not be a perfect man, but I'll always be a family man." The post included hashtags such as #HusbandFatherPastor and #FlawedYetFavored.
Following the altercation, the pastor allegedly shot his wife in the abdomen and arm before turning the gun on himself, all in the presence of their children. Gabrielle Prenell was subsequently airlifted from Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center in McComb to the University of Mississippi Medical Center (UMMC) in Jackson for treatment.
The pastor's condition is reported to be stable, and once he is discharged from the hospital, he will face multiple felony charges, as stated by the police. In the meantime, their children have been placed under the care of Child Protective Services.
