Renowned American singer, Rihanna, and rapper A$AP Rocky have officially revealed the name of their second child, just a month after welcoming him into the world.
As per a birth certificate obtained by The Blast, the couple has chosen the name “Riot Rose Mayers” for their newborn son.
The birth certificate also divulged that the baby was born on August 1 at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles.
Interestingly, it seems the couple has established a tradition of giving their children names that start with the letter 'R.' Their first child, a son, was named RZA Athelston Mayers in homage to the legendary Wu-Tang Clan leader RZA, following his birth in May 2022.
The name "Riot Rose Mayers" has already piqued the curiosity of fans and followers.
Some speculate that the name might be a reference to A$AP Rocky's recent track, "Riot," which was released in July and featured the acclaimed Pharrell Williams.
Rihanna surprised the world with her second pregnancy announcement during her performance at the 2023 Super Bowl halftime show in February. Observant viewers noticed her tenderly cradling her growing baby bump on stage, sparking widespread speculation.
Following the news of their son's birth last month, insiders reported to Entertainment Tonight that the new parents were initially opting for a low-key approach to parenthood, choosing to keep their family life out of the public eye.
