A Nigerian businesswoman has recently come forward with a claim stating that the late Nollywood actor, Murphy Afolabi, owed her a substantial amount of money before his unfortunate demise.
According to the woman, she made this revelation during the Firdau Prayer ceremony held in honor of the late actor on May 22nd, 2023, in Lagos State. She bravely stepped forward during the event and informed the Islamic clerics present about her business dealings with Murphy Afolabi.
The woman asserted that she had engaged in a business transaction with Murphy Afolabi involving an amount of N1.4 million, which he had failed to repay before his passing. Although the specific details of the business transaction and the outstanding debt were not disclosed in the report, the woman's statement during the solemn ceremony showcases her determination to recover what she believes is rightfully owed to her.
In response to the situation, a committee has been established to facilitate the retrieval of the owed funds from the late actor's family. The woman stated that this committee has been entrusted with the task of resolving the matter.
