A Nigerian lady named Tracy Loveday has stirred up quite a commotion within the online community with her unexpected decision to revisit a salon merely six days after indulging in an extravagant ₦75,000 braided hairstyle

In a video she shared, Loveday revealed that she had spent a whopping ₦75,000 on getting the braids, only to remove them shortly thereafter. While some online users expressed concern about dismantling the braids so soon, others criticized the exorbitant cost of the hairstyling.

Loveday, who is an influencer, justified her actions by highlighting the demands of her role. She explained that her constant need for diverse photos for her social media required her to change her hairstyle frequently, as sticking to the same look hindered her creative content production.

Furthermore, Loveday candidly admitted to having a tendency to grow tired of a particular hairstyle quickly, regardless of how recently she had flaunted it.

The video swiftly ignited a flurry of reactions from social media users.

Netizens Respond:

@whizbelle remarked, "You say what? I'm still rocking my ₦10,000 braid for almost 3 months. Playing around."

@rajipeju commented, "Come with you to Wer exactly! I've been carrying my hair for a month. Let me follow you to Wer, I don't even know! The hair salon will lose today."

@africasweetheartweddings reacted, "You people have money oh, I gave the stylist ₦75,000 for braids? No way!"

@mimico360 wrote, "Even if I have so much money, I can't change my hair every six days. I might go crazy."

@yay_toon_day quipped, "Oh, ₦75,000? That's cheap. I spent ₦750,000 on mine and carried it for just 5 minutes because I don't like the same hairstyle for more than an hour."

@kingkokoskitchen added, "I have a low cut and my younger brother cut it with scissors. ₦75,000 is even more than my salary."
