The couple joyously christened and dedicated their son, Eguze, meaning “jewel,” at their place of worship on Sunday, surrounded by the warmth and support of their church community.

During the christening and dedication ceremony, Mr. and Mrs. Obo expressed profound gratitude to God, reflecting on the emotional toll their infertility struggle had taken on various aspects of their lives, including their marriage, work, and education.

Mrs. Obo opened up about moments when they almost lost faith in God, but the unwavering support from her mother and certain church members, along with the steadfast prayers from leaders and fellow members, played a pivotal role in sustaining their belief and hope.

Despite facing societal pressure and suggestions to seek help from other spiritual sources during their tough times, the couple remained resolute in their Christian faith, resisting external influences.

Expressing gratitude for the constant encouragement from their church community, Mrs. Obo emphasized how God's faithfulness ultimately led to this joyous moment, putting an end to their long and challenging wait to become parents.
