Renowned businessman sparks controversy on Twitter by revealing his house rules, insisting that guests must wash dishes after dining at his home.

The influencer shared the stringent guidelines via his Twitter handle, @Elkrosmediahub, prompting mixed reactions from followers.

In response to a query by user @AkinJoshua2017 regarding visitor etiquette, Mr. Cross outlined his expectations for guests:

Mr. Cross tweeted:

“-• If you are the type that can’t aim straight, and end up peeing on my toilet seat, better drag up tissue paper and wipe it clean afterwards.

-• If I serve you food, and you don’t do your dishes afterwards, leaving them for myself or wife, best believe it’s the last time you eating in my house.

-• If you come with body odor, please take it back with you when leaving.

-• If you’ve been exposed to bedbugs, stay at the door please.”

However, the second rule sparked significant backlash as many deemed it unreasonable to expect guests to handle household chores while visiting.

Some reactions to the post below:

@mr_efreedom commented: “Your wife puts to bed. Your hommies turn up to see the baby. You serve them food. Then, they’ll line up to wash plates. Na NYSC camp? 😂”

@Amina_Eke22 questioned: “Your visitor should do their dishes because you served them food? I can understand family members, but a friend shouldn’t be entering your kitchen as long as you’re not living alone. When you offer a guest some meal, be gracious enough to do the dishes afterward.”

@360motion shared: “First time I visited my uncle then, I met baba washing his plate. That sufficed for me to do the needful after eating.”

@PsyberIfy stated: “The only time I can do chores in someone’s house is when I spend the night at that house.”

@JiggyBrain humorously remarked: “Baba, it's better to serve food in disposable packs or plates. I come to your house, and you're in comfy clothes. Shall I come and remove my wristwatch to wash plates? 😭”
