Following a press conference held by the pro-democracy group Take-It-Back Movement (TIB), the organization demanded the Lagos State Police Command to disclose the autopsy report of the late singer, expressing dissatisfaction with the prolonged silence, which they deemed unfair to the public.

The group urged the police to investigate cases of cyberbullying directed at Wunmi, Mohbad’s wife, and Liam, the deceased child, emphasizing severe consequences for those involved in such acts.

Responding to inquiries from a PUNCH correspondent, police spokesman Hundeyin clarified that the command had not yet received the pathologists’ report on Mohbad’s autopsy.

Hundeyin explained that the police would not engage in speculation during the investigation into the death.

In his words, “We’re not the pathologists who carried out the autopsy. When they (the pathologists) give us their report, we’ll conclude our investigation. For now, that’s what we’re waiting for. Except they want us to do guesswork, we can’t guess; we need to get the report and see the content of the result, and we don’t have it yet.”
