This offer comes at a time when numerous controversies surround the untimely passing of the singer Mohbad.

Larry Omodia's pledge to fund an "all-expense paid" DNA test is rooted in the belief that such a test is crucial to unraveling the circumstances surrounding Mohbad's death.

He has also referred to a leaked conversation between the late singer and his wife, Omowunmi, during a heated argument. This leaked audio clip contains serious allegations made by the 'Peace' singer against his wife, including conspiracy and a vow that she would be held accountable if anything unfortunate were to happen to him.

These allegations have fueled speculation and controversy since they became public.

In his own words:

He stated, "I will provide N10 million to Mohbad's wife if the DNA proves that the child belongs to Mohbad. African Television will cover the cost of the DNA test and raise N10 million for Mohbad's wife if the DNA confirms that the child is indeed Mohbad's."

"This offer is in response to those who say, 'If you mention DNA, they will sue you for N3 million.' Let them come after me. I am Larry Omodia, the CEO of African Television."

"I will sponsor the DNA test to ensure that the child receives N10 million if proven to be Mohbad's. Why? Because accusations are traumatic, but what is more traumatic than accusations? A life of lies."

"So, this message is directed at Mohbad's family: bring me that woman, bring the child. We will conduct a DNA test. If the woman has nothing to hide, she will receive N10 million, that is a promise. And if you want to sue for what is right, come after me."

"We are tired of women sending our boys to jail, harming our boys, and making false accusations against our men. Do you know how many men are in their graves because of a woman? Kings have been buried because of women. Future presidents have been imprisoned because of women."

"It is time to say no to deceitful women. I am not saying that Mohbad's wife or girlfriend is guilty, but we want to clear her name through a proper investigation. We want to clear her name if she is innocent. Listen to the audio conversation between her and Mohbad, that audio conversation makes her the prime suspect. You are going after Naira Marley, Sam Larry, and all kinds of people, but listen to that audio conversation."

Reactions from Netizens

@MurthadaO commented, "She has everything to gain if she agrees to the DNA test."

@OceanicK4J inquired, "Where is Naira Marley and Sam Larry?"

@PAUL_MONEY_1 brought up another aspect, saying, "Come on! Look at all this gossip. There's another rumor that Mohbad had another child with a different girl in his hometown."

@austylno3 pondered, "If after the DNA test, it turns out the child belongs to someone else, what's your plan? Will you wake up Mohbad to tell him?"

@ChukwumaChibuzo added, "The benefit here is that the fortune Mohbad earned will not be used to raise another man's child, especially when the father is suspected to be involved in Mohbad's death and with an unfaithful wife."

@haywhy1345 urged caution, stating, "Please, do your own DNA test too, sir, to prove that you are your father's son! Leave the girl out of this. You can investigate, but don't drag her into it. Spouses have fights and say things they don't mean to each other."

@Kelvin_Stone_ emphasized the importance of the DNA test, saying, "What's so difficult about a DNA test if the lady is truly innocent? The situation would be different if Mohbad had an actual father, not that coward who calls himself his father."

@cossbee pointed out the need to focus on justice, saying, "We are fighting against bullying, so we go after Samlarry and Naira. We are also trying to get justice by finding the killers, and that's where all the family and friends of MohBad come in. Right now, it's more important to catch the killers than the bullies."
