Manchester United are currently in discussions to sign 16-year-old former Arsenal striker Chido Obi-Martin. The young talent recently left Arsenal after his schoolboy contract ended, having turned down a scholarship offer from the club.
Obi-Martin, who was born in Denmark, visited Manchester United’s Carrington training complex earlier this week. This visit signifies the serious interest the Red Devils have shown in acquiring him.
However, Manchester United are not the only club vying for the promising forward’s signature. Several other clubs have also expressed interest in the striker, who has made a name for himself with his impressive performances.

Obi-Martin first gained significant attention last November when he scored an impressive 10 goals in a remarkable 14-3 victory for Arsenal’s under-16 team against Liverpool. This standout performance caught the eye of numerous scouts who have since been keeping tabs on him.
Though Obi-Martin has represented both England and Denmark at youth levels, he will not be eligible to sign a professional contract until he turns 17.
