The Nigerian forward, sidelined since January due to an adductor injury, is reportedly "on schedule" in his comeback, as shared by the club’s sporting director, Simon Rolfes, according to Football Italia.
Rolfes mentioned that the 23-year-old has resumed light running and might be back in action by April. This development is crucial for Leverkusen, given that Boniface is their leading scorer this season with 16 goals and eight assists in 23 games.
