Photos of a creative 2-piece outfit inspired by popular Nigerian singer, Davido’s slang, “E choke” has gone viral and stirred mixed reactions online.
A Nigerian Twitter user, identified as @Aremupokipoki1, took to the platform to share a photo of himself rocking the outfit which had the design of a hand, perfectly illustrating the catchphrase, “E choke”.
Sharing a photo of himself rocking the creative piece which had a hand reaching for his throat, he captioned the photo, “Who Dey Breeet? e choke.”

The photo has since stirred tons of reactions online, while some netizens applauded the creativity of the designer some worried about the hand actually becoming real and choking the fellow.

Meanwhile, the singer has declared his intention to get his now-popular catchphrase ‘e choke’ copyrighted.
According to the “Jowo” crooner, it is pertinent that he does this because the usage is getting out of hand.
Admittedly, the phrase has travelled beyond the shores of the country and just a few days ago, Canadian rapper, Drake, was caught on camera using the catchphrase after meeting Davido.
