Seun Kuti, an Afrobeat singer, has provided an explanation for why he believes Tunde Ednut wanted him to be imprisoned in relation to a police assault case.
During an Instagram live session, Seun alleged that Tunde's motive behind wanting him in jail was rooted in an unsettled financial matter between them. According to Seun, he had paid Tunde a sum of money two years ago for the purpose of 10 promotional posts, but Tunde only delivered on one post and failed to refund the remaining amount or fulfill the remaining posts.
Seun claimed that this unresolved issue was the driving force behind Tunde's active push for Seun to face imprisonment.
Furthermore, Seun revealed that Tunde is the only entertainer in Nigeria who communicates with him directly, as they have each other's phone numbers. Seun alleged that Tunde has been targeting him with online attacks through recent posts, potentially as a means to prevent Seun from holding him accountable and demanding the completion of their deal.
Seun expressed his frustration, stating, "Tunde Ednut wants me to go to jail because he is owing me money. I paid him for 10 posts 2 years ago and he posted only one."
