Veteran actor Nkem Owoh has recently broken his silence regarding the tragic passing of his daughter, for the first time since her demise. The 24-year-old daughter, named Kosisochukwu, passed away in June due to a short illness. The actor had not publicly shared the news of her death with his social media followers.
After the daughter's burial on August 24th, Nkem Owoh decided to open up about the loss. He took to his Instagram page to express gratitude towards those who sent their condolences and supported him during this difficult time of grief. He noted the comfort in knowing that he wasn't alone in his darkest moments, and referred to the unexpected loss of his daughter as a change he wasn't prepared for.
In his statement, Nkem Owoh shared, "I want to thank you all for the support and love shown to me and my family. When tragedy strikes, there is nothing more heartening than knowing that you’re not alone. It was with deep gratitude that I received your note, and calls with condolences. We have seen many changes over the years. But this is a change I did not anticipate and I am feeling an acute sense of loss. However, I know that because of your encouragement, I will get through this time. Thank you for helping to push me through my grief."
The heartfelt post was accompanied by an Instagram post shared by Nkem Owoh, where he expressed his feelings and appreciation.
