Nigerian superstar singer, Damini Ogulu professionally known as Burna Boy, has shocked netizens with his attitude at a show in Dallas, USA on Wednesday night.
According to reports, Burna Boy arrived late for the concert at the American Airlines Center, causing his fans to wait for an hour. This delay angered many of his fans who had been eagerly anticipating his performance.
Burna Boy eventually made it to the stage and apologized to the audience for his tardiness. He explained that an unforeseen issue with the stage setup had caused the delay. However, some netizens pointed out that Burna Boy has a history of speaking down to his supporters in Nigeria when similar incidents happen, and expressed disbelief that he could be so kind to his fans abroad.
Some fans were quick to defend Burna Boy, claiming that he apologized because he respected his foreign fans more than his Nigerian fans. Others were not so forgiving, citing previous incidents where Burna Boy had kept fans waiting for hours without any explanation or apology.
