The ex-husband of Patience Patra Idehen, CEO of Face of Beauty, Peter Idehen, has chosen to speak out in response to accusations of theft and abandonment made by Patra after their divorce.
Patra had publicly accused Peter of robbing her and their family, shedding light on their relationship that began while they were both students at the University of Benin. Despite Patra being the primary breadwinner with her beauty brand, trouble arose when she purchased a car in her name, causing a shift in Peter's demeanor.
She stated that they began dating in 2017 and married in 2018 while still in school, after which they welcomed two children in fast succession.
Patra stated that the trouble began last year when she purchased a car in her name, which annoyed her ex-husband, adding that her ex-husband’s demeanor and conduct toward her altered at that time.
She claimed her ex-husband then encouraged her to sell her new automobile and use the proceeds towards operating their home. Later, when they needed money again, she had to sell the house she was building as an understanding wife.
Peter denied abandoning Patra and their children in a video he posted online. According to him, he traveled to go and hustle, and he always checked on Patra and the kids, and she always stated everything was well with them.
