The Mavin Records boss shared this perspective while responding to a fan’s suggestion for an all-legends concert.

The fan identified as @beingzora on X platform suggested the coming together of veteran entertainers like Don Jazzy, P-Square, Wande Coal, and others for a live performance.

“Ughhh someone needs to plan a OG Naija music festival with P-Square, Dbanj, Wande Coal, Duncan Mighty, Don Jazzy (Old Mavins), Ice Prince!!! That would go so crazyyyy!” he wrote.

In response, the Mavin Records boss insisted that he was an upcoming and should not be classified amongst veterans on the list.

“I be upcoming o. Stay there,” he wrote.

Following the split of Mo’ Hits, he established Mavin Records in 2012. In 2024, he sold Mavin Records to Universal Music Group but continued in his role as the chief executive officer (CEO).
