David Adeleke, a well-known Nigerian Afropop star, who is famously referred to as Davido, recently revealed during an interview with Jazzy’s World TV that he enjoys being the last born in his family. According to him, this is because it allowed his other family members to not take him seriously while growing up. However, he mentioned that he was given attention by his family only after his music gained popularity. Despite this, Davido emphasized that he enjoys being the youngest in the family because his siblings always have his back when he gets into trouble.
During the interview, Davido spoke about his journey into the music industry and the challenges he faced as the youngest child in the family. He mentioned that he had to influence everybody in the family to let him pursue his dream of becoming a music superstar, and it was difficult because no one took him seriously. However, as he got older and his talent became more apparent, his family finally let him pursue his dream. Despite this, Davido loves being the youngest in the family because he knows that if he ever faces any challenges, his older siblings will always be there to support him.
