Anthony Joshua engaged in a confrontational exchange with John Fury in anticipation of his impending clash with former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou.
The scheduled battle between Joshua and Ngannou is slated to unfold in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, this Friday.
During their recent encounter in the Middle East, Joshua playfully ribbed Fury Sr about his recent interviews, jesting, “How are you? I have watched everything you have said.”
Fury, in response, chuckled at the remark and commented on Ngannou's imposing stature, labeling him “a f****** big fella.”
Earlier, John Fury had cast doubts on Joshua’s ability to overcome Ngannou, citing his size and punching strength observed during the Cameroonian’s bout with his son, Tyson Fury, last year.
In response, Joshua acknowledged the dynamic nature of the heavyweight division. “It is land of the giants, isn’t it? The heavyweight division is changing up,” he remarked.
Despite the confrontational tone, the interaction concluded amicably, with both men exchanging wishes of luck before parting ways.
