A tragic turn of events has befallen an X user identified as Enugu Of Lagos, who has been thrown into mourning following the untimely death of his brother in a ghastly accident involving a Dangote truck on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at Four Corner Junction in Enugu State.
Taking to his official X account to share the heartbreaking news, Enugu Of Lagos disclosed that the unfortunate incident claimed multiple lives, including that of his brother, leaving the entire family and community in deep sorrow.
In his post, he revealed that no fewer than three persons died in the accident, while sharing an image from the crash scene as evidence of the tragic occurrence. His tweet read …
“Another accident happened this afternoon just beside that four coner and claimed the lives of four persons including my brother 😭😭😭😭😭.”
Shortly after this sad announcement, netizens dug up one of his previous tweets where he had inquired about Phyna’s alleged ₦1 billion compensation demand from the Dangote Group, sparking renewed conversations about the company’s involvement in recurring road mishaps.
It would be recalled that Phyna’s sister, Ruth Otabor, had earlier been hit by a Dangote truck on August 13, 2025, just days after her graduation from Auchi Polytechnic. That tragic incident eventually led to the amputation of her leg before her passing on August 31, 2025, an announcement which was made public on Phyna’s verified Instagram account.
This latest tragedy has reignited public outrage, with many Nigerians questioning the safety measures of Dangote trucks and calling on relevant authorities to step up regulations to prevent further loss of innocent lives.
