A wave of reactions has swept through social media following a police briefing that revealed Mohbad's demise resulted from the administration of three injections.
During a press conference on Friday, the Lagos State Police Commissioner disclosed that the cause of Mohbad's death was traced to an injection administered on him by auxiliary nurse Feyisayo Ogedengbe on September 12.
The police commissioner explained that on September 11, Mohbad's friend, Ayobami Sadiq (Spending), had called the auxiliary nurse, who then administered three injections to Mohbad on September 12, eventually leading to his death.
He stated, "She is the principal suspect in the death of Mohbad. She acknowledged that it was the injection she administered on the deceased that triggered the reactions which eventually led to Mohbad’s death. Other experts’ opinions and witnesses' statements corroborated her admittance."
Furthermore, the commissioner added, "Her actions of administering doses of Tetanus toxoid, paracetamol, intravenous, and cetrazone injection, which was also administered intravenously on Mohbad at his residence on 12th September 2023, immediately triggered the reaction, including vomiting, goosebumps, and convulsion that eventually resulted in the singer’s death."
