A Nigerian university student recently took to social media to share a video showcasing his unique strategy for survival during his last semester. In the video, the student can be seen hiding soup inside empty toothpaste containers.

Identified as @drenati01 on TikTok, the student explained that he resorted to hiding all his food items from his roommates in unconventional places as a means of ensuring his sustenance. The video, captioned "How I survived my last semester," reveals the various hiding spots he used for different food items.

In the clip, the student demonstrates how he concealed his eba (a Nigerian staple food) in a Glenfiddich container, stored soup in tubes of Colgate and Oral B toothpaste, kept garri (another Nigerian food item) in a Sunlight detergent pack, and stored sugar in a matchbox. He also reveals that he hid sardines, corned beef, Chivita (a popular fruit juice brand), and biscuits in a washing basin, even soaking his clothes alongside these food items.
