A university student recently turned down the romantic advances of a Youth Corper due to his perceived inability to financially support her. The incident, which was made public through a WhatsApp conversation, involved the corper named Oluwaseyo, who had tried to woo the university student, Esther. However, Esther declined and went on to explain at length why she was rejecting him.
Esther cited several factors that led to her decision to decline Oluwaseyo's advances. Firstly, she stated that she doesn't date corpers, thereby disqualifying him from the onset. Secondly, she explained that he's not financially capable enough to take care of her due to his dependence on the monthly allowance provided by the National Youth Service scheme.
Oluwaseyo, who was clearly taken aback by Esther's response, could only reply with a single word - "What!"
