The UK government reportedly takes custody of a 16-year-old teenager following reports of being flogged by his father, who is a doctor.
According to reports, the teenager had arranged a study group with two of his friends in his father's house ahead of their exams.
The father caught the trio watching an inappropriate video instead of studying for their GCSE exams and in anger, flogged his son in the presence of his friends.
The boy testified that his father often flogged him for persistently pursuing his dream of becoming a medical doctor like him.
As a result of the incident, the UK's Courts and Tribunal Hearings took custody of the child until he turns 18.
