In a viral online video, a group of sympathizers marched in mourning for Mohbad, the late Afrobeats musician, in Lagos. The men were all dressed in black, and they caught the attention of an interviewer who questioned them about their attire and the purpose of their march. One of the men responded that they were marching for their friend, Mohbad.

However, when asked who Mohbad was, his response revealed their ignorance. He explained that Mohbad was a Calabar guy who had been tragically killed by his employer, allegedly due to a dispute over unpaid services rendered over the years.
