A significant number of social media users have expressed disappointment at the apparent lack of a strong connection as Wizkid shares a hug with his son, Bolu.

It's worth noting that Boluwatife Balogun is Wizkid's first son, born to his baby mama, Shola Ogudu. In 2018, she had shared their text messages on social media, alleging that Wizkid wasn't involved in their son's life.

During the wake-keep and tribute event for his late mother, Wizkid took a moment to briefly hug his son as he was leaving. However, this display of affection didn't sit well with many Nigerians.

Nevertheless, Wizkid has repeatedly stated that he disagrees with the notion and claims to love all his children equally. All of his kids were present at the event except for his second son, Ayodeji.
