Guinness World Record holder, Kafayat Oluwatoyin, popularly known as Kaffy has shared the major condition that needs to be met before Hilda Baci can be inducted into the Guinness World Records. Kaffy, who joined in celebrating Hilda, took to social media to address Nigerians' inquiries about the delay in verifying Hilda's record-breaking achievement.
Her response aimed to explain that the delay in verifying Hilda's record may be attributed to thorough investigation and verification, as Kaffy herself had to wait for a significant two-week period before her own record could be confirmed. She emphasized that this delay is part of the standard procedure and that numerous individuals who have broken records have encountered similar challenges. Kaffy also highlighted the unfortunate fact that some people who have accomplished remarkable feats in the past were not acknowledged by Guinness World Records.
In her words, she stated, "Yes, this is standard procedure! Even during our own record, we had to wait for almost two weeks for them to review videos and all records before they confirm. A lot of people attempt and succeed in beating timelines but don't get verified because of technical errors. It's not Hilda's portion IJN," signifying her belief that Hilda's verification will eventually come through.
Kaffy, known for holding the Guinness World Record for the 'longest dance party,' expressed her understanding of the process and offered reassurance to Hilda and her supporters. She shared her message via a tweet, which she included in her social media posts.
