Phyna, the triumphant winner of the 2022 BBNaija 'Level Up' edition, has taken to her social media platform to express her frustration with a Vanguard News correspondent who reported that she had abandoned her family.
Vanguard News had previously published a report containing statements made by Phyna's father.

In his statement, her father maintained that he had not seen his eldest daughter, Phyna, since she clinched the ₦100 million grand prize of BBNaija 'Level Up.'
Hours after the report was published, Phyna took to her social media to vent her frustration at Ben Njoku, a reporter from Vanguard News, who had reached out to her.
In her response, the reality star expressed her exasperation at being bombarded with calls and messages from the said reporter and hinted at her potential course of action. She stated, "I think it's time for me to sue this useless Vanguard. They've been tormenting me with texts and calls."
She went on to describe an encounter with the reporter: "I mistakenly picked one of the numbers 4 days back. Immediately I said hello, the useless man just said he is Ben Njoku from Vanguard, and the next thing this man started doing was asking me questions."
"I just told him, 'How can you come to me and start questioning me?' Immediately, I then ended the call. He texted me immediately, saying that he is so sorry."
"Now, you went back to your cupboard to say your father is crying, and your mother gave him a bastard son? Vanguard will crumble."
"This is the number of the bastard that has been disturbing me from Vanguard. This particular cooking will choke you. You will hear from my lawyer."
