A Twitter user recently shared a story about a young woman who decided to quit her job after enduring an 8-hour ordeal in Lagos traffic. The lady, who had recently completed her NYSC, lived with a relative in Ibafo and left home early at 5:45 am in an attempt to beat the infamous Lagos traffic.
[p>However, despite her efforts, she found herself caught in the heavy traffic and arrived at her office in Ikeja around 2 pm, looking exhausted and frustrated. The Twitter user revealed that she quickly went to the canteen to grab a meal and then proceeded to type her resignation letter, packed her belongings, and left for home.
[/p][p>The Twitter user shared the following tweet to recount the incident: "A fresh-from-NYSC colleague staying with a relative in Ibafo left home around 5.45 am with the aim of beating the Monday traffic, unfortunately, she got to the office (Ikeja) around 2 pm, looking all tired and frustrated. She went to the canteen to eat, then came back to her seat and napped for over an hour. When she woke up, she brought out her laptop, typed her resignation letter, packed her bags and went back home. She’s currently unreachable on all platforms; I feel so bad for her because I totally understand how she feels."
[p>The Twitter user also emphasized the notorious nature of Lagos traffic, stating, "This seems unbelievable, but you can call anyone that plied mowe-to-berger/otedola/secretariat earlier today and let them share their experience with you. Lagos traffic will sometimes make you sound like a liar!"
