A Nigerian father, Dapo Ogundipe, is heartbroken as his daughter, based in the UK, tragically committed suicide following a tumultuous relationship with a man from the UK.
Recounting the distressing events, he detailed the relationship's decline in three stages, starting with the revelation that the boyfriend infected his daughter with the permanent viral sexual disease, Herpes, at the beginning of their relationship.
The father revealed that despite knowing about his condition, the boyfriend withheld this crucial information, trapping his daughter in the relationship to prevent her from transmitting the disease to someone else. The control escalated as the UK man isolated his daughter from others.
Describing his daughter as a focused and highly intelligent woman working with KPMG, the father lamented how the UK man drastically altered the trajectory of her life. The boyfriend, portraying a false image of wealth with multiple businesses, financially exploited her, demanded money, stole her passwords, and invaded her privacy by accessing her phone for personal information.
The situation escalated when he violently pushed her out of his house. Distraught, the daughter confided in her mother, expressing her desire for a walk, but she tragically jumped in front of a moving train in Manchester, ending her life.
