A Nigerian man identified as Austine Imoniche Oviosun and his wife Chidimma have both achieved their PhD degrees from the College of Medicine at the University of Nigeria, and celebrated their accomplishment with a post on Facebook. The couple faced numerous challenges during their doctoral journey, including the Covid 19 pandemic and ASUU strike, which delayed the completion of their degrees for nearly five years. However, they persevered and overcame these obstacles. In a Facebook post, Oviosun expressed his joy at the accomplishment, describing it as his greatest achievement. He also introduced himself and his wife as "Dr. and Dr. (Mrs.) Oviosun." The couple's journey was not without personal milestones as well; they got married and had a son in the midst of pursuing their degrees. Oviosun promised to share more details about their journey later, but for now, he and his wife are celebrating their hard-earned achievement.
