Julius, a businessman, described how his life took a drastic turn, leaving him feeling lost and unsupported as he navigated through the darkness that enveloped him.
In a recent interview with TUKO, a widely read Kenyan media outlet, Julius recounted the circumstances surrounding the accident. He revealed that it occurred after he had finished a meeting with a client in the afternoon. A miscommunication between an oncoming car and another car joining the main road from a petrol station led to the accident. Julius could only recall waking up in a hospital, enduring immense pain. His leg was fractured, feeling as heavy as if a log had been placed upon it. Additionally, three discs in his back had complications, and his neck was dislocated.
During his time in the hospital, Julius experienced another devastating blow. His beloved wife disappeared without a trace, leaving him to suffer not only from physical injuries but also from financial debt and profound sadness. His house was completely cleared out, compounding his already difficult situation. Julius expressed his shock and distress over his wife's abandonment, stating that he attempted to contact her but she refused to answer his calls. Even his in-laws, whom he considered family, ignored his pleas for help. The only solace he found came from his own parents, who supported and encouraged him throughout this ordeal. Prior to losing his wife and children, Julius had also lost his job as his company terminated his contract, a situation he believes triggered his wife's decision to leave him.
Julius revealed that his wife only contacted him when their daughter fell ill and required his credit card for medical treatment. He expressed his disappointment, highlighting that she showed no concern for his well-being or how he had been coping with the aftermath of the accident.
