Reliving a harrowing experience, a young Nigerian man expresses profound gratitude after surviving a catastrophic accident involving the collapse of a petrol-laden tanker onto their car.
Narrating the near-death encounter on the microblogging platform, X, the user shared the gripping details of how he and his wife narrowly escaped a fatal accident involving a fuel tanker.
According to the man, a fully loaded truck collapsed onto their car, trapping them inside the crushed vehicle for almost an hour. Miraculously, when help finally arrived, both he and his wife emerged unharmed, with no broken bones, despite the immense weight of the truck.
“I haven’t tweeted about this before. On the 6th of October, while driving home, our car was rammed into by a tanker fully laden with petrol. The tanker head fell on us, and we got trapped for over one hour. My wife and I walked out of this scene without a broken bone,” he wrote.
Sharing the photos from the accident scene, both vehicles involved in the crash were crushed beyond repair. The online community has since poured in congratulatory messages for the man and his wife, celebrating their miraculous escape from such a life-threatening situation without any visible scars despite the severity of the accident.
