Renowned Nollywood star Eniola Badmus found herself at the center of a social media reprimand from a Nigerian individual who chastised her for not extending congratulations to her ex-best friend Davido on the birth of his reported twins.
Reports emerged indicating that Davido and his wife, Chioma, had welcomed twins earlier this week. While the couple hadn't officially confirmed the news, Davido had sparked speculation when he mentioned in his song "In the Garden" that his wife would soon become a "Mama Ibeji" (mother of twins).
On Sunday, the musician tweeted that he anticipated having the best week of his life, and his brother, Adewale Adeleke, added to the speculation by expressing gratitude to God on Twitter.
Following the revelation of the twins' arrival, a social media user took issue with Eniola Badmus for not sharing any posts about the twins, contrasting it with her swift response to report the passing of Ifeanyi, Davido's first child, last year.
The netizen questioned the actress's apparent inclination toward negative news, stating, "Aunty Eniola Badmus, you were quick to share the news of Ifeanyi's death, but you haven't posted anything about the twins Chioma and Davido gave birth to! It's either 'RIP' or 'Happy Birthday' – where's the love?"
