Renowned Indian chef, Lata Tondon, has broken her silence after Nigerian chef Hilda Baci surpassed her to become the new record holder for the longest cooking marathon (Individual). Initially, Tondon faced criticism for deleting her previous post congratulating Baci on her achievement, which sparked backlash from internet users. Tondon, who previously held the record with 87 hours and 45 minutes, was surpassed by Baci's impressive record of 93 hours and 11 minutes. Two days after the announcement, Tondon took to her Instagram page to express her congratulations to Nigerians and specifically Hilda Baci for accomplishing such a remarkable feat. In her post, she stated, "Namastey Nigeria. I'm very happy for you all & my best wishes to Hilda!" Alongside her message, she shared a screenshot of the congratulatory post. Lata Tondon's response signifies her support for Nigerians and her well wishes towards Hilda Baci.
