Iyabo Ojo, the renowned Nollywood actress, has taken the initiative to organize a rally within Lagos State with the aim of seeking justice for the late musician Mohbad.
During a live session on Instagram held on Monday, Iyabo disclosed her intentions. She explained that her NGO, Pinkies Foundation, is set to dispatch a letter to the state administration on Monday, laying the groundwork for the rally scheduled for either Tuesday or Wednesday.
She extended an open invitation to fellow entertainers within the industry, urging them to join the cause. Iyabo addressed Governor Sanwo Olu, saying, “Governor Sanwo Olu, I implore you to use your esteemed office, sir. We implore you to ensure that all these investigations are diligently conducted. We demand a thorough and genuine investigation, not just a superficial one. We failed him when he was alive. Unfortunately, he paid the ultimate price for it.”
“As parents, we are committed to bringing about this revolution. Conducting the autopsy is non-negotiable. When I met him, he was visibly distressed and paranoid.
“My legal representative will communicate with you, and my foundation will follow suit. A series of letters will be dispatched by my foundation. On Monday, we will send these letters to various esteemed offices, including international organizations. We will be arriving at your office on either Tuesday or Wednesday to underscore our urgent plea for justice. Our rally will be peaceful in nature.”
