The winner of the Big Brother Naija All-Stars season, Ilebaye Odiniya, has clarified that her conflicts with fellow housemates during her time in the Big Brother house were not part of a deliberate strategy to secure her victory in the reality TV show. Ilebaye emerged as the victor, defeating participants from various seasons and claiming the grand prize of N120 million at the BBNaija finale on Sunday, October 1.
Ilebaye's triumph generated substantial buzz on social media, with some speculating that her altercations with housemates were a calculated approach to winning the competition. However, during a recent conversation with Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, Ilebaye explained that housemates seemed to target her due to an "unknown beef" they had with her.
"I did not even have any strategy going into the house. I just feel like I was just having fun. Some people in the house have certain beef with me that I did not really get," she stated.
"So I might do something, and they might think I am purposely trying to annoy them, even though to me, I am not. I am not saying I am perfect. I am not saying I have not done anything wrong to them. Obviously, I have made mistakes, I have hurt somebody knowingly and unknowingly," she acknowledged.
During the prize presentation on Tuesday, Ilebaye received a cash prize of N120 million and a brand-new sports utility vehicle (SUV).
