Nigerian wigmaker Helen Williams, who recently received approval from Guinness World Records for her application to create the Longest Handmade Wig in the World, has made an exciting announcement regarding the official date for her upcoming record-breaking attempt. Weeks ago, Hair Rita 9ja's CEO, Helen Williams, shared a screenshot of the email she received from Guinness World Records, confirming the approval of her application for the record.
With her extensive expertise as a wigmaker, wig instructor, and educator, Helen Williams expressed her enthusiasm and eagerness to take on the challenge of creating the Longest Handmade Wig in the World. Now, she has unveiled the official date for the much-anticipated event. The record-breaking attempt is scheduled to take place on Friday, July 7, at the venue located at 767 Lagos Abeokuta Expressway, beside Area 1 Estate Gate.
Sharing her post on social media, Helen Williams wrote, "I was approved by Guinness World Records Few Weeks Ago for 'Longest Wig In The World Attempt.' Initially, I didn't want to announce it yet. I hope you all will support me. As a Wigmaker, Wig Instructor, and Educator, I will be taking up this challenge of making 'The Longest Handmade Wig In the World.' This time, I am not just making a wig but the Longest Handmade Wig In The World. According to Silvia Pencak, 'Victories Aren't Born On The Field, You Create them during Practice, Day In and Day Out.'
