A groom-to-be named Adebowale Toromade tragically lost his life when he was struck by a stray bullet in Moro, Ife-North Local Government area. The incident occurred just one day before his scheduled wedding to his pregnant fiancée. Adebowale had gone to visit his fiancée and her family in Ife-North before joining other members of the motorcycle union at Moro junction to celebrate the selection of a new executive member for his position. It was during this celebration that unknown individuals fired a gunshot into the air, and Adebowale, along with another person, was unfortunately hit by a stray bullet. Both victims were promptly rushed to the hospital, but Adebowale was pronounced dead upon arrival, while the other individual is currently receiving treatment. The Osun State Police Command, represented by Yemisi Opalola, has confirmed that investigations into the incident are currently underway.
