Jubilee Afamefune celebrates her outstanding achievement, graduating with first-class honors in Electrical/Electronic Engineering from the University of Benin. Notably, she successfully managed her academic pursuits alongside a dedicated involvement in photography, showcasing her entrepreneurial spirit.
Sharing her journey on Instagram (@jb_afam), Jubilee posted a video capturing the highs and lows of her six-year academic venture. Despite facing challenges, including disruptions caused by ASUU and the Covid-19 pandemic, she expressed gratitude for reaching this significant milestone.
She admitted it had been a tough one as she had to combine the pressure of being a photographer alongside a very involved student.

Six years of late nights, early mornings, sacrifices, tears, happiness, dedication, learning, and more. Started in December 2017, extended by ASUU and Covid-19 and now it’s finally over.
Deciding to show vulnerable moments in this video was tough but they made up 90% of my study journey. I wanted to express gratitude, but it’d be misleading without revealing the years of grit, tears (a lot of tears Mhen 😂😂) sacrifices, all by God’s grace, that brought me here.
I am Grateful to God for the grace to persist despite challenges. Thanks to my amazing family, friends, mentors— especially Azukaego, Ebube, and Desmond for their unwavering belief and support. Special thanks to Osarugue for being a vital support in the most crucial year. Your belief and love mean everything to me 🥹❤️
