EFCC arrests 32 people, including crossdresser, for suspected online scam

The Lagos Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has reportedly arrested a group of individuals for their alleged involvement in computer-related fraud. Among the arrested suspects is Owoseni Gabriel, who is known for crossdressing. Gabriel was apprehended along with 32 other accomplices, including Salaudeen Hammed, Akinsanya Olamilekan, Olamofe Joshua, Akindele Saheed, Damilare Micheal, Patoki Ayomiku, Olakunle Ismail, Babalola Ayomide, Afolabi Olaibola, Abiodun Olayinka, Samuel Ogunyemi, Adebayo Olarewaju, Abdul-Fatai Olawale, and Hassan Ayofe. Other suspects include Samson Jeremiah, Kolawole Afeez, Makinde Oluwasegun, Daniel Seun, Adefolahan Isreal, Olusegun Emmanuel, Olawore Micheal, Hammed Raheem, Micheal Tunde, Francis Chibundu, Jesse Oluwatobiloba, Adenekan Ayotunde, Qudus Adeyi, Sulaimon Oladimeji, Kayode Sunday, Daniel Owosine, and Boluwatife Gbolahan.

The EFCC reportedly conducted a raid in the area where the suspects were located, leading to the arrest of Gabriel and his alleged accomplices. Items recovered from the suspects include two Toyota Camry vehicles, specifically a 2005 and 2009 model, as well as mobile phones and laptop computers.

It is important to note that the allegations against the suspects are currently unproven and they should be considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
