Nigerian Afropop superstar, Davido, recently disclosed the reason behind the purchasing habits of Africa's richest man, Aliko Dangote. In an interview with Forbes, Davido revealed that Dangote buys two cars every eight years, as a result of his strict financial discipline and aversion to impulsive spending. According to Davido, every time he sees Dangote, the billionaire mogul always advises him to "Save your money!" as this is the key to financial success.
Davido also mentioned that his father and Dangote are close friends and the latter has made significant contributions to the Nigerian economy by establishing various industries, including the largest factory in Africa, which provides employment opportunities for many Nigerians.
