A video has emerged, causing a frenzy, which shows the interior of the house belonging to former Nigerian president, Muhammadu Buhari, located in Daura, Katsina state.
Prior to the inauguration of Nigeria's new president, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Buhari and his family had already relocated their personal belongings from Aso Rock, the country's seat of power.
In the video, Buhari can be seen asking questions about the air conditioner in the apartment, leading some netizens to claim that the house does not befit a former president.
A social media user, Cza_dd, expressed disappointment, stating, "Upon all the money he stole, he didn't even arrange his parlor. Nawa o."
Another user, Bossfingy, remarked, "He didn't build a better house, ooo."
Sharing a similar sentiment, Caniceego wrote, "This just goes to show that all they do is embezzle money. Look at the sofa he uses in his own house and just a common 1.5 HP air conditioner in his sitting room. But they will come and deceive us that they used 14 billion to renovate Aso Villa. I thought the AC and furniture they use would be different from what we see daily. Smh."
Adding to the criticism, Ozo_nnamani1 commented, "How can you install a 1pk AC in a big sitting room like this and expect magic to happen? You never chi chomtin. Abeg, make una take baba to his ranch; that is where he belongs.
