In the wake of challenges stemming from the removal of fuel subsidy, Leke Adeboye, the son of the general overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has generously provided fuel to worshippers within the church community.

This compassionate gesture occurred on Sunday at the RCCG's LSC The Bridge congregation in Ikeja, Lagos, where Leke Adeboye serves as the lead pastor.
The initiative aimed to alleviate the burdens faced by worshippers due to the surge in the price of premium motor spirit.
The accompanying statement highlighted the exceptional nature of Sunday's church service at LSC The Bridge, noting Pastor Leke Adeboye's collaboration with the head of Christian Social Responsibility for RCCG Youth Province 1, Lagos State. Together, they devised an ingenious approach to aid church members.
The statement outlined, “Over 1,000 litres of fuel were contributed to support anyone who came to church on Sunday with their vehicle.”
Furthermore, this effort was recognized as a means of empowering young individuals and taxi drivers who rely on their vehicles for business and sustenance, especially during these challenging times.
The statement elaborated, “They all drove in their cars and had their tanks filled with petroleum or diesel. In addition to this, over 500 people also had their bodies fuelled with good food.”
Pastor Leke Adeboye's post-program reflection emphasized the responsible use of the provided fuel: “You cannot use God’s fuel to do illegal things, use the fuel wisely.”
