The story of Gabriel Eze, hailing from Okposi Ebonyi state, unfolds from the tender age of 7 when he tragically lost his father. Undeterred by the challenges, he navigated through primary and secondary education, embracing plumbing work he learned early on as a means of self-sustenance.

Eze's academic journey took a significant turn in 2017 when he gained admission to FUTO. Balancing the demands of work and education, he not only excelled academically but also achieved a first-class degree in petroleum engineering, a testament to his unwavering commitment and tenacity.

Eze demonstrated exceptional resilience, completing his primary education in 2011 with Distinction and making five distinctions in the Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE). Despite financial constraints, he pursued a plumbing apprenticeship during senior secondary school, a skill that later became instrumental in supporting himself through university.

In addition to his academic pursuits, Gabriel N. Eze founded and registered *Ductspan Enterprises*, a construction service company specializing in plumbing, sewer services, water fountain construction, swimming pool construction, and water borehole drilling. His entrepreneurial spirit shone through, earning the company a solid reputation for professionalism and excellence in Ebonyi State.

Eze's academic excellence was recognized with prestigious scholarships, including the PTDF Undergraduate Scholarship Award, Agbami Medical and Engineering Professionals’ Scholarship Award, and NNPC/NAOC/OANDA JV Tertiary Scholarship Award. He also served as an SDG Ambassador, actively promoting awareness and activities related to sustainable development.

On December 2, 2023, Gabriel Eze proudly marched on FUTO’s Convocation ground, receiving a special handshake from the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Nnenna Oti, and other faculty members as he graduated with First Class Honours in Petroleum Engineering. His passion for leveraging technology to enhance the energy industry's sustainable future, coupled with skills in machine learning, modeling, simulation, advanced data analytics, and Python programming, sets him on a path to make a meaningful impact in the sector.

The "starboy," as admirers fondly call him, looks forward to acquiring additional knowledge and skills in leading institutions worldwide, eager to connect and collaborate with industry professionals, academicians, policymakers, and peers who share his interests.
