The narrator, who goes by @Madam_Ufuoma on Twitter, revealed that her aunt used to give her husband her salary at the end of each month. However, when she fell ill and required a N50,000 surgery, her husband chose not to pay for the procedure and instead used the money to repair his car. Tragically, the surgery was never performed, and the woman passed away.

Following her aunt's death, the man emptied her bank account and remarried another woman in less than two years. @Madam_Ufuoma shared the emotional toll her aunt endured in silence, enduring emotional abuse and not spending any of her hard-earned money on herself. She worked as a nurse and was well-paid but never prioritized her own needs.

After her death, the husband even refused to bury her in the land that she had purchased with her own money. Instead, he arranged for her to be buried in government land and made it appear as if he had bought a new burial plot for her.

The woman's suffering, from emotional abuse to headaches, high blood pressure, and the ultimately fatal tumor, remained hidden from her loved ones. The doctor who treated her reached out to her emergency contact, her brother, when he realized the husband's unwillingness to pay for the surgery. Unfortunately, it was too late by the time the brother arrived with the money, and the woman lost her life to a condition that could have been treated with just N50,000. Her husband had chosen to prioritize fixing his car over her life.

As if that weren't enough, the husband showed no respect for her in life or death, repeatedly saying during the burial arrangements, "na who die na e lose" (loosely translated as "It's the one who died that lost"). The children witnessed all of this, and the eldest son and daughter grew to dislike their father due to his actions. The youngest child, just 7 years old at the time, may not remember everything but was undoubtedly affected by this tragic situation.

This heart-wrenching story sheds light on the emotional and financial abuse endured by the woman, ultimately leading to her untimely death and leaving her family devastated.
