A 23-year-old lady, who goes by the Twitter handle @ghoulfriendish, recently discovered that she is pregnant without experiencing any symptoms of pregnancy. Despite being on birth control pills, she got pregnant unknowingly. Some weeks ago, she fainted, but didn't realize it was due to pregnancy since she had no symptoms. She revealed that she had given birth to a child just a year ago and was unaware of her current pregnancy until she went for an ultrasound at the hospital, which showed that she was 36 or 37 weeks pregnant.
In one of her posts, she wrote, "This morning, I learned I'm pregnant. As of an hour ago, I learned I'm 36/37 weeks pregnant." The lady further explained that she had no idea about her pregnancy because she didn't experience any symptoms. She mistook the flutters in her stomach as normal body changes after giving birth, and hence, did not seek any medical attention. However, an ultrasound at the hospital revealed that she was indeed pregnant.
The lady shared some pictures on Twitter, showing her baby bump, and it has generated a lot of reactions from her followers.
In another post, she wrote, "Nothing at all. and bc i just had a baby less than a year ago, it was normal for me to feel flutters in my stomach bc my organs were supposed to be !!! going back into place and whatnot".
Overall, the lady's story has raised concerns about the reliability of birth control methods and the need for women to be aware of the possibility of pregnancy, even in the absence of typical pregnancy symptoms.
