A 13-year-old boy from Cameroon has reportedly taken his own life after being accused of stealing a mobile phone. According to a reporter named Tata Benard Gibip, the young boy had been caught trying to stab himself over the false accusation, but was stopped and cautioned. Tragically, in the early hours of Sunday morning, May 7th, 2023, the boy apparently left home and hanged himself from a tree.
“His lifeless body was discovered hanging from a tree after his absence was noticed," said Gibip. "Considering his tender age, many are wondering whether the allegation could actually push him to take away his life. However, answers unfortunately cannot be gotten as the concern is no."
