President Bola Tinubu has generously awarded Super Eagles players with both flats in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) and individual plots of land.
In addition to the property gifts, President Tinubu honored the Super Eagles with the national award of Member of the Order of the Niger (MON).

In a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, President Tinubu praised the team, coach, crew, and management for their hard work, assiduity, and sacrifice throughout the tournament, acknowledging their consistently improving performance and resilience in overcoming hurdles to reach the finals.
President Tinubu urged Nigerians to stay optimistic, emphasizing the great victory won in the hearts of Africa and the world through the team's grit, rigour, and determination on the field.
He encouraged the Nigerian youth expressing their talents, particularly those playing football in their local communities, stating, "You can be our heroes tomorrow, do not relent in your pursuit. My administration is here to make dreams come true.”
