The former Liverpool star celebrated their union in a wedding ceremony held last weekend in Dakar, Senegal.
This wedding coincided just a week before the kickoff of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON.
In an interview with local media, Sadio Mane expressed his joy, highlighting the honor of receiving congratulations from the country's president.
In his own words;
“Honestly, I am happy [with] the fact the president has congratulated me just as much as, well, I would say not just my teammates.
“I think that all the people have congratulated me and wished me [luck] so I am happy and I hope that it will be okay.”
It's noteworthy that in 2022, Mane openly shared his intention to marry a woman who values God and prioritizes virtues over social media extravagance.
